Meadow Pipit

Been a while since my last post on here, or anywhere else for that matter. So here is a Meadow Pipit from this morning.

Very effective Andy, nice pose, great perch, BKD works! Just wonder if pushing it a little more to the right, with a hint more space to the left would give better placement?

Good to see you back Andy
I love the reverse over shoulder look on any bird picture. Nice background too. Perhaps down a tad in the frame would help ?

Cheers guys :toast:

No more room on the left, Steve ( cocked up comp on my part, was rushing to get the shot as it started to SNOW!!! )
I was considering adding canvas, maybe I'll rework at a later date.

Will look at losing some off the bottom when I rework, John.

You could lop a bit off the right without squaring up the crop Andy. Otherwsie cracker.

Snow?

Cheers Neil, I went up North to check on the Snipe site and was greeted to a winter wonderland, all the hills and valleys were covered in snow, you would have thought it was mid winter and not nearly May!!!

For me it needs a little more room at the top and could be either a landscape or portrait. Stunning light and background and the pose really makes the image. Minor nit aside this is a stonking image.
