Hi Guys,

Hosted a workshop over at my Roe Deer site tonight and was able to capture them in the last bit of light. I am not usually to keen on getting images where an animal is facing away from me but in this case i think it might just work..
What do you think..?

greetings,

Jeroen Stel

I like it! I think the posture of the deer is what makes the image (and the deer) stand out especially if the color at the top is cropped and the deer becomes the focal point. I also like the bit of a mystery in what is not included-what is the deer looking at?

Love the comp on this one, Jeroen. Agree with Jim re the sky.

Agree re: sky but that is a stonking shot mate!

Was in doubt wether to crop out that part of the sky but liked it as it clearly shows the setting sun.
Still not sure as i have to agree it does attract a tad too much attention away from the Deer.

Thanks for your comments guys and all the best!

I agree that the bits of sky need to go as they are a distraction as they are bitty. Great comp and lots of detail in the image.
