Just a different look at this well overshot place. Is this working for you?

POSTCARD! I simply like looking at these. Regardless how overshot folks think they are, there is always something to learn from each photograph. I just wish that folks would put up the details so we can better understand the relationships to all that is going on in these photos. Maybe everyone else is an expert as guessing exposure details, but I am not, and they help me in evaluating a photo.......just my opinion.

Ok Randy. Canon 1Ds , 17-40, f16 at 8sec, polarizer and 1 stop soft ND. Hope it will help you. Glad you like it.

tomas, this is working really well. You captured a nice moment. Wouldn't have guessed Sol Duc Falls by this composition. Nicely done.

This is pretty nice - the rays are very clear and distinct. I might only suggest cropping enough at the top to eliminate the two hot spots, but overall this is really nice. :toast:

Did you find my lens hood there? I left it on the right side of the bridge, eight or ten years ago.....

Neat work, especially the treest on right side...

I love this, Tomas. You did a very good job envisioning the final image and doing what was necessary to make it happen!

Overshot schmover shot, forget that idea, this is really nice although I'm having a hard time with the bright (fleeting) light and the silky smooth water.

Great attempt on a super set of conditions. For me, I think that having framed this more to the right such that the main stream of flow were slightly of center and more of the sun's rays to the RH side would have made for amore appealling compo. I also feel that the water is somewhat too cold looking, perhaps a slight increase in temp would help.
