Thank you to all members who posted in our "edgy" April theme! We had great participation this month with some eye-poppingly precipitous photos submitted. Our May cover is graced by Richard Olsen's morning yoga image from the Grand Canyon. Please join us in congratulating Richard and be sure to post your photos in this month's theme "The Desert Bloom!"
Based on the list of wonderful suggestions we've received from you the members on our "We Need Your Ideas" topic, we've planned a list of upcoming themes for everyone to keep in mind when shooting outdoors over the next few months or organizing their image archives. Our upcoming themes are:
June - Plains, Prairies & Grasslands
July - Avian/Birds
August - Colorado ("Colorado Day" celebrating statehood is on Aug. 1)
September - The Road Less Traveled
October - Backyard Photos
November - Fall Color Contest
December - Silhouettes & Shadows
January 2014 - "Unique" Images
February 2014 - Time Lapse
I'm embarrassed to say, but I just noticed this today. Work has been busy of late. Thanks for the honor, and the kind comments. Toroweap is a special place and well worth the rocky road getting there.
