I Lost My Head..
Just my second sighting of the Lesser-Goldfinch this past week, so I got excited & "Lost my head":wink:
Just one click, and it was early light with the blacks lost to shadow..
I used the Adobe plugin Viveza 2 to bring up the head as far possible. When the detail's lost to UE, there's no amount of PS that can retrieve what is not there.. As I said, 'I Lost My Head' :rolleyes:

Nice shot

If you wanted to a little shadow work with the slider in Lightroom or PS can bring out a bit more detail without losing the effect of the nice shot.

And/or the adjustment brush-works great to bring a dark eye on a dark head. (-:
But then I may be preaching to the chorus......LOL

I guess with the yellow throat, it's the L Goldfinch then Keith. Very similar..
