Holkham Beach
My favourite place.

Taken just before sunrise, August 2012 in the company of Jon Gibbs from the Saltmarsh Gallery, Wells.

Not sure about this one Graham. I like the lines of the rippled sand in the foreground but they are not very long and finish with the wet area. I think if the camera was beyond this area it would have given an uninterrupted leading line to the sea. I also would have liked to have seen more of that gorgeous sky. This viewpoint also gives the impression that the image needs a lot of CW which it doesn't as the horizon is level. Others may not agree. It has lots of atmosphere and it must have been a wonderful experience.

Not sure, nothing anchoring the shot and not much interest in the background. Great colours though.

Agree with Neil there is a lack of anchor points but the lines in the sand and the colors work really well here.

I tend to agree chaps, but wanted some feedback so thought I'd post it and gauge reaction, so thanks for taking the trouble.

I'm in no way a landscaper, but I sold a couple of these last year as the colours look good when reproduced as an A3 print.

Great colours and I imagine that it would look even better in a nice mount and frame. My first thought was to check the horizon though.

Nice kit by the way
