Family Outing
Their have been many Canada Goose families out with their new babies the past few weeks, but the wary parents always seem to guide the goslings away or scattered, preventing a nice family grouping. I had almost given up on that family portrait in my mind, when yesterday, this family that had moved into the water and headed away, decided to turn and head toward the camera. Actually it's the curious goslings I have to thank.....they turned around and Mom and Dad just followed and supervised. The shot was still fairly far away to catch the detail in the little "fuzzies" I was after, but I'll take the shot.

Sweet, Craig. These family portraits are tough and farther away gives you more dof to play with anyhow.

I love family portraits like this. They bring animals and humans closer together. This is fabulous.

I would take this shot too! There's plenty of detail and very good light. The parents look proud as they supervise and you can almost see the "pleasure of exploring" in the little one's faces. I like the horizontal pattern in the water too.

Lovely shot, again, Craig! Very expressive and just plain cute.
