Sparring partners

If kangaroos can box, wallabies can at least be sparring partners. These are two young male Mareeba rock wallabies, and are part of a habituated group. These two were very tolerant of humans, but less so of each other. I have deliberately cropped in very close to emphasise that both animals are in mid air. A lower viewpoint would have been nice, but sparring bouts lasted only a few seconds and there was no time to change position. I have posted a large version, although the front animal is not that sharp I thought the action compensated.

Thanks for looking.

Nice to see something different and nicely caught action, a difficult image to frame and compose I would imagine...
