I have high expectations for the new series, "North America" beginning tonight on the Discovery Channel. It starts at 7 p.m. our time and the cinematography looks outstanding.

This is just to let everyone know in case they missed the promos.

This is a very impressive series after watching the first two episodes. The cinematography is remarkable. I was extremely impressed with the wild horse scene as well as the wolves chasing down the bison. Cannot wait to see the rest of the episodes.

Agreed. Kudos to the people who made this series. They've not only taken all new footage, but have made an obviously deliberate effort to cut and splice that footage to achieve a dynamic that makes it so compelling that the viewer feels as if he doesn't dare take his eyes away for even a moment.

Kudos also for the sponsors who were willing to forego having a commercial interruption every 10 minutes.

Nice to see the Discovery Channel put some quality programming back on. They had strayed considerably over the last few years. Thanks for the heads up.
