Hi Keith, superb, the detail, sharpness & clarity looks spot on, excellent work. The whites have been handled very well and sympathetically, plus I like the way you have retained that blue sheen to the plumage. I prefer this, but like the overall surrounding colours of the last one. Nice catchlight and the raised foot is a lovely touch, your images are really coming along, and with the right profile for web too.

Doesn't get much better, a real pleasure to view. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Thanks a lot Guys ,Nick I am very pleased with my D4 and have always liked my 300ml 2.8 even in the hands of a novice I am pleased with the results I am getting and I'm sure that I can still improve a lot, bit expensive but hey! it's only money.

Keith.

Forget the cost Keith, as you say, 'it's only money and you get what you pay for', plus your images have taken a huge leap forward, well worth the investment. In addition you are getting out and about and using it too.

I think the statement " Its only money" might not go down too well in some quarters, and can have very different meanings for different people- especially those that haven't got any!
To say "You get what you pay for " infers that the best equipment is essential or results in the best pictures. That statement from my expereience is erroneous to say the least.

Very nicely processed. I would like a touch more space on the right, but no big deal and it is a great image.

I keep coming back to this as I can't make up my mind about the uphill marching pose. Th detail and colour on the bird are super though. :toast:

Beautiful light and detail on this one, Keith. If you have no more room on the right hand side then it needs a touch off the top IMO, no biggy as it's a fine shot.

Thanks a lot guys, Graham it was going up hill on a mission to sort a problem with another male
Andy no more room on the right but I did leave plenty on the top mainly because I liked the bg each to his own as they say. :wavey:
