SoCal Coast and Catalina Island Photos

I was out in Southern California (La Jolla/Del Mar) last week. While it was not so green, there were still some nice flowers. We also went to Catalina Island which was absolutely beautiful.

(It was a foggy/cloudy day which resulted in some of these pictures looking muddy/faded. I think I can fix them up better, just haven't had the chance to yet)

I like the La Jolla flowers picture. You did a good job at masking the gloomy sky by filling up the frame with flowers. The contrasting gloom makes the color stand out even more.

Very nice work. I specially like the one on the lower left. Its a spectacular view of the coastline.

I also visited your web-site and enjoyed viewing the images on display.

Thanks for the comments, I still have A LOT to learn about photography but I'm enjoying the process. And yes, the view from Lone Tree Point on Catalina is amazing, one of the most beautiful places I have been.
