I can see why you spend so much time at Long Beach. This, like so many of your other photos from the area, are quite beautiful. I like the colors of this image - very warm and comforting. The area on the top may be a bit hot but I like it anyway. It gives me an impression of an awakening.
This has a mysterious and intriguing quality to it, Jim. The foreground is really pretty, almost metallic looking. To emphasize that portion of the image, a crop of just about 1/2 of the bright sky seems to make a significant difference. The artistic vision of the shot has a lot of good potential. Makes me want to get my processing hands on it!! (I mean that as a compliment.)
