I've been rather busy as late preparing for a new job so one pulled from the archives, an unprocessed image from 2006 when I organised a trip to the Elan Valley in Wales for NPN.
A small group of us were killing time after lunch before heading over to Gigrin farm and hunched down on the river shallows waiting for dippers when an otter wended its way downstream in front of us without a care in the world concentrating on hunting in the shallows of the river. Sheer magic!
Looks good for such a big crop, Mike. I seem to remember that you had put in a lot of time preparing for the NPN visit, just wish I could have made it.
I was thinking of running the trip again this year, but job interviews and a need to preserve cash took a priority (hence a profusuon of images from me this spring....), next year perhaps

Great POV on this one Mike and you were very lucky to see one in daylight south of Scotland.

Superb image couldn't wish for more. Can I put my name down for next year please?
