Quate - (yet again sorry if the shot lacks quality, i'm linking from fotopic, and they downsize the pics when linking  )

I have another "portrait" shot that i like, which i'll post after the 72 hour posting a pic thing  .

20D
EF 500 f.4 L + 1.4 TC
ISO 400
1/640 @ f5.6

Thanks for looking

Hi Alan

Nice pose by the rabbit. Image looks slightly soft so maybe needs more USM. If I was being picky the background is a bit distracting and it would be better without the dark colours and the blue/purple splodges top left.

Good low angle though which works well for this subject.

cheers

I lilke it Alan, pleasing pose by the bunny and a nice low perspective. Think I would add an extra touch of USM and tone down the top left corner - slightly distracting.

A nice alert pose, not too keen on the bg, a possibility is a pano crop, fairly tight to the top and bottom of the rabbit....

I think you need to use a higher quality JPEG setting as its really quite pixelated and adds to the soft appearance. Maybe worth saving again with some USM and cropping pano, as suggested. Good pose, composition, and nice low angle.

Pose and daisy are good.
Unfortunately with such a common species only top drawer shots tend to be remembered and anything that looks soft will be hit hard.

Thanks for all your inputs

I've just upgraded my fotopic site to premium and i can now link my shots at the kb they should be, so the next pic i'll post will NOT look pixalated.

Looking at this shot again i see how you think the top left is abit distracting. That was a gate leading into the next field. To me it looked allright, but its very good to have peeps like you lot making a different opinion on what i thought looked good.

Its a pitty i cant re-do all the pics i posted to how they should look(without the blockie pixals), for some reason they hav'nt chaged here.

Heres what it looks like(lost the softness as seen above) now i've upgraded CLICK LINK
