Kurt, I really like #1 because its feathers are all fluffed out and he's got food! I also like #4 - shows real attitude. They are all excellent. I applaud those of you who can shoot birds and do it so well. They move around too fast for me!

I love Meadowlarks too! Their song is so loud and melodic, yet peaceful sounding, plus their coloration is outstanding. #1 is my favorite only because it is so unique, but #2 and #3 are both excellent action shots as well. I only wish I had more opportunities with these charismatic birds, but they are out of my habitat zone. I can never see too many Meadowlark shots, keep them coming!

Excellent series Kurt, love that first one with the bugs and the disheveled look. Number 4 is my next favorite, a great portrait of the bird.
You may post a lot of meadowlark images, but you post a lot of great ones! I don't think one person minds your prolific output, Kurt. I feel privileged to see such fantastic bird photography here.
Another series of professional caliber work here! #'s 1 & 4 are simply some of the finest bird photography I've ever seen.

4&2 for my tastes. I like the slight body lean in 4 as it give him a look with attitude. You always seem to get the nice little spot of light in the eye.
