Beautiful shots Stan!

The Electric Company shots particularly dazzling. And that awesome sunset.

Did you get a free dinner at the Texan?

All this motivation for the upcoming monsoons in Arizona and Southern Nevada.

If you ever need a chasing partner, drop me a note!

Oh - do you stream video on your chase? I have been using chasertv.com with a boosted cel system.

Wow! Stan: That is an awesome set of storm photos. The photo of the lightning strikes over the electric plant at sunset is unbelievable and spooky! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys!
Karl--i dont stream, dont chase enough to justify that. I was just watching chasertv, but the Wxchannel feeds are better right now--looks like Mike Bettes took a direct hit, he's lucky to be alive.
No free dinner at the Texan, wasnt about to try that with 300 miles left to drive--maybe next time!

Some great stuff here, especially the first two electric company shots!

Just a great set of storm photos, Stan! :toast:

I can't believe anyone could eat 4 1/2 lbs. of steak and all the trimmings, but some do.

What a great selection Stan, I was trying to keep track of my favorites but lost count. I really like this subject matter so always look forward to your annual trip, and your work just gets better every year.

Those are really cool, Stan, and glad you're safe. (The thought of having a tornado sneak up behind me while distracted by the one in front of me  ) There's not much else that's as dramatic as the weather and you've done a superb job capturing it. :toast:

Awesome set, Stan. After seeing the Weather Channel chase car get all twisted up I think we're all glad you're home safe for this one. Growing up in Tornado Alley I can remember lots of big storms but never this many in such a short time.

Outstanding images, love the lightning strikes. You're technique for capturing the dramatic cloud formations creates a captivating photo; really emphasizes the power of nature.

Awesome images Stan - the electric company shots are my favorite too ...

Amazing set of storm shots, Stan! Don't get caught up in one in your passion to capture it for posterity like what happened to that crew in OK. Will your car insurance cover hail damage if it happens when you have clients with you?

Texas Trouble! Love the glowing greens and teals in that sucker!! I'll admit I'm not familiar with that suspended hail phenomenon however on yesterday's news i saw it in at least 3 different storm scenes. Those Electric Company shots are amazing too. Nice work Stan.

Electric Company I and II are both way cool. The colors in II are quite additive to the image.
I also like the first Badlands image, although the brightest part of the sky is a little too bright to me.
Time for another oil change after all those miles.

Lots of awesome images but i especially like they way they work together to tell an even more powerful story. Really superb work, Stan.

Well done.

Thanks, folks!
Don--i dunno, dents are honorable so they dont get repaired  I should buy a new car and write it off...

Real nice series Stan. I've been fascinated with tornados since I was a little kid, so really love seeing these. TFS!
