Early morning hare
D7000 500mm f4 ISO 500 1/2000s at f6.3 handheld with lens resting on fence wire.

Spotted this hare resting in a field near a fenced off stream early one morning whilst on holiday. By using the stream cut I managed to get close to the hare and as I was below the level of the field I was able to get a nice low POV. I have used a pano crop on this one as I had to remove the top portion of the image due to houses in the distance so to balance it I went for this format. Hope it works. Appreciate all feedback as always.

Yes, works nicely as far as I am concerned, and the hare is well separated from both foreground and background.

Works a treat for me Nick, and it's a damn site better looking hare than that moth-eaten looking thing on Spring Watch the other night.

Crop works really well. :toast: :toast:

Good looking shot, Nick. As already mentioned, the comp works very well and the light is controlled very nicely. He looks a bit sleepy.

Works for me!
Perhaps a slight yellow/green cast to it but that might be due to the available light.
