When I happened by Erik in his shop and he told me I should go to the winter RMNP meet-up, I have to admit I felt a bit guilty for dropping out from the forum and thought I should reconnect now that I'm starting to really feel better. Thanks to all who were there for saying 'Hi' and welcoming me back.
So now comes the part where I promised I'd get back online and at least admit that I've been doing some photography while I was gone. Okay - it's been a few months since the meet-up, but I promise, at least some of it's been due to photography!
I think the last time I posted here was 2010, so I suppose I'll catch up (through photos) a bit at a time over the next few days...
I'm shooting with a D7000 now - an upgrade from my D2X that came about because I traveled to Ireland with a pretty limited luggage capacity. I was on a bus tour with a group, not photo related but I did manage to get a few shots as a tourist...
Ireland was the summer of 2011, and pretty much the only thing I did with a camera between summer 2010 and fall of 2012 due to my health. But things get better from there.
Had a great trip to Acadia National Park and New Hampshire where I was able to spend some quality time behind the camera while traveling with Mom. This one I'm considering adding to the in-print collection - thoughts?
