This is why I chase.
I went on a little 900 mile drive yesterday through Kansas. Didnt see a single storm chaser the whole trip, in contrast to the mob scene in Oklahoma last few outbreaks there. Saw lots of pretty stuff--wrote about it in my new blog, HERE

Growing up in Kansas and Nebraska I can relate to what you see in the storms. Nice job.

Chase, capture and release: Not only do you chase extremely well; you also capture equally well (thanks for releasing for us to see).

Great stuff here, Stan. I love the definition and color in your shots; this image and the one of the parched soils are heart-grabbing in their intensity.

Awesome images and story Stan! Looking forward to more of your chasing images.

Cannot imagine the beating your car takes out there.

Wow, The images on your blog are fantastic. I can see how chasing can get into your blood stream. However I think I'll stay to chasing wildlife it seems much safer. Very interesting blog its now on my favorites. Stay safe and by the way I hope you keep your car maintenance up for a quick get away.
