Injured bird ID
My wife Peggy texted me this snapshot of an injured bird that was brought into the vet clinic (Fort Myers Florida)where she works. She thinks it looks woodpeckerish. I guessing maybe yellow-bellied sapsucker, but that's a bird I'm not really familiar with. they are here but we rarely see them.

ID needed, please.

It's a juvenile woodpecker of some sort... downy/hairy/sapsucker can't really tell but that's what I would go with.

Looks like a downy to me. Sapsuckers don't nest in Florida; they are winter residents only.
