Just been sent this page link - makes the Wolf shot of Mr Rodriguez pale into insignificance.

It would help if I could read the lingo I suppose.

You can always bung it into Google Translate, Andy. I have done this and although, like most translate programs, it comes up with some almost unintelligible drivel, the gist of the story seems to be that an Italian photographer is complaining about some of the commercial hides he has been to, and the unethical practices they adopt - the picture of the eagle pouncing on a tethered pigeon speaks for itself. The author seems to have high ethical standards himself, and is disgusted at how others behave, a sentiment most or all readers of this site are likely to share.

David's pretty much got the gist of it.

The link you have is to his 'behind the scenes' image as a follow-up to an image he posted showing the eagle on kill, but which doesn't show any hint of the tether used to keep the pigeon as bait. From the text, he seems to be disgusted with the way the site/hide is being run/used to get the images, and that he hadn't realised how it was run when he booked and first used the hide. Seems it's not in Italy, but in Spain. He's not happy with the fact he took the photos, and seems to be at the point of giving up on the wildlife photography. At least that the way I've read the text and discussion beneath the photo. Anyone with a better grasp of Italian can correct me if I've got something wrong!

See my facebook page of yesterday Andy, basically he posted the shot to highlight the shady goings on, which he had no knowledge of. Not sure if he is giving up on photography or he just gave up on that particular hide...

I would have used a squirrel.

Rubber bands are better Jeroen, that way the fish automatically snap back into the water when the KF flies up  :wavey:
