Where the bee sucks--etc,etc,!
Came in the other day and my son back from living in Spain was feeding this dopey bumble which he found on the floor (Like you do)
Bit of honey on a cocktail stick.he said he did it all the time with the big blue carpenter bees over there. It's the sharp end I worry about.!!
Not doing much photography these days but a Redstart has decided to have a second brood in a box in the veg patch so I suppose that'll be something to do.

Interesting image, I hadn't realised just how long the bee tongue is- where does it go when not extended!
