Our June theme spanned the vast expanses of the plains, prairies and grasslands of our region. Our choice for this month's cover goes to Don Jennemann for his spectacular image of a rainbow on the Montana prairie that proved how beautiful the flatlands of our states can be. Please congratulate Don and remember to post your bird photos in this month's theme "Avian." Also, here is a list of upcoming monthly themes to shoot for:

Sweet shot Don, I always love images with the great foreground light and dark grey skies.

NIce capture, Don. Getting a complete rainbow is something I've never had the chance to photograph, so I really appreciate an image like this.

Thanks everyone, I'm honored you chose my photo. This was a right place , right time shot. We were returning to Bozeman from a day fishing trip in the Crazy Mtns and he pulled over to take a phone call.. And there it was right in front of us.

Congrats, Don! A fine image!! Having grown up and living most of my life in Kansas, I definitely appreciate seeing beautiful prairie scenes like this.
