This photo was taken in the Texas Hill Country this weekend and it has a bill like a thrasher but I could not find it in my books. Thanks for any help.

Yellow-billed Cuckoo. They are typically secretive, so good work getting this one in the open.

Definite Yellow-Billed Cuckoo... I love the beautiful markings under the tail, that's the defining field mark.... That and the Yellow bill, as opposed to the Black billed... I saw my first Yellow billed couple weeks ago and they aren't easy! Nice shot!
