I've been invited to be a vendor at a very good local show and was wondering whether anyone can advise me about buying a small, reasonably inexpensive tent or some such device to serve as protection from the elements.
My finances are severely limited, I don't plan to do such shows all that often, and will have to rely on my son's good will to store it at his house, since my 1-BR apartment hasn't got the room. So that's why "small" and "inexpensive" are rather important. If any of you do shows and can offer suggestions, I'd be ever so grateful.

EZ-Up is a popular low priced brand. Perhaps not as good as Light Dome or a couple of other premium brands, but EZ-Ups are less expensive and widely available.

Thank you, Buck! That's very helpful and I appreciate your taking the time to reply.

Nancy, I do a couple shows a year, only one outdoor, but purchased an EZ-Up a few years ago (around $200), and it works quite well. I also use lightweight packable camping tables to set things on. There is a ton of info and tips on the internet for doing craft and vendor shows. Just do a couple google searches and you'll find lots of stuff. Good luck.

Many art festivals have tents available for rent so that might be an option. The bigger question is what type of walls are you going to use to hang your framed photographs? That's where it can get expensive.
