More from Chatfield
Here are a few more shots I picked up. these were from yesterday. I actually had a really good weekend of shooting and have a ton of stuff to post. I don't want to over-post, so will wait another week or so before adding more.

This first shot is of a Western Kingbird taking off from a Mullein perch.

Lots of nice shots here...I think the last two are my faves.

Nice shots Kurt! I like the Kingbird with its wings spread. The Meadowlark is our state bird here in Montana. As you know it has a really nice song.

Dang Kurt, your techniques and skill level for taking small bird images is excellent. You always seem to find the right muted background so the birds standout. That's hard to do much of the time. I am starting to believe these are pet birds in your backyard

#4 with the outstretched wings is my choice. Each image is a nice catch.

Another excellent series, Kurt. I'm kind of fond of #2 and #4.

Nice series. I like #5 - looks like a rocket!

What I like most about your work is that you rarely post images of birds just sittin' around. They always seem to be doing something interesting that captures the viewer's attention. These are no exception...I like 'em all!
Excellent work as usual, Kurt! Thanks a bunch for sharing them with us.

Wow! Well done! I agree with John...your "action" shots really set your work apart from the norm.
