You can see the hide - especially in the right eye.
Try the biggie.
D7100
Nikkor 70-300mm f4
800ISO 90th sec @f9
50% of full frame.
Usual pp in Paint Shop Pro etc

I thought you had an owl at the pool for a moment! Great detail for a 50% crop!
