Camped out overnight at Shrine ridge Weds night. Lots of flowers...huge concentrations at lower elevations. Up top is good, not quite as many flowers as a couple years ago but if you work the location, you could still get some good shots.

Did you catch a good sunrise ?

Camping out is the way to go. ONCE I got up early to make the drive and hike before sunrise. I'm just not a morning person. :biggrin:

Love the blue tent and how it comes close to matching the blues in the night sky. Beautiful! Is this where you stayed the night? I guess you guys probably don't have to worry about bears using the trails like they do here in Montana.

Very peaceful looking. I like it! Including the trail and marker really adds a lot, too.
What kind of moon did you have on this night? I really like the overall luminance of the landscape.
