Thanks for posting this Sandy. The Town I work for is looking to do a huge project involving solar panels. Most of the sites are innocuous (parking lots, rooftops, etc.) however we have a municipal airport that provides precious grassland habitat and the Town is looking to cover the whole thing in solar panels... Fortunately the FAA has a say. Ironic that planes will likely make it "safer" for birds
