This is just a really excellent use of line with all of the real and the implied lines meeting at a point at the horizon. Really nice light and color as well. Very well done!
Agreed with the above comments. The sky is well exposed too. However I would like to see a version with the gap light across the rim of the canyon more pronouced. In this version (could be a monitor thing) the rim light takes a second to pop to my eye as real gap light, which it is and I feel like you need more credit for that awesome lighting. You can do that by darking the canyon shadows just a notch. Just a thought.

Thank you for the comments. Kane, rather that darkening the canyon, brightening just the lit rim may be another option to try to accentuate the rim. Thanks for the beneficial input.
As others noted, this is a really good composition. I sure like how the 'glow' light on the canyon rim walls in the foreground recedes as the canyon recedes. Kane's observation is a good one, but I think the light on those rim walls is just right. Perhaps a very subtle darkening of the canyon interior would be an asset. Frankly, I would not have seen what Kane saw at all, and I appreciate his insights as they help everyone learn a bit more.
