I'm headed to Salt Lake City for 4 days next week and need some location help. I got a pretty good idea about some wildflower locations up around Alta but I'd also like to spend at least one sunset on the Lake. Any of you folks care to share a decent sunset location for the Great Salt Lake near SLC?

Hey Bill, you can try Black Rock, get off at exit 104 (Saltair) take the frontage road on the north side of 80 west and before you get to the marina take the dirt road to that spurs left for another two miles. Another suggestion would be Antelope Island, try the Whiterock overlook or Buffalo Point, they are both off of the same road. Antelope Island is a state park and will cost $10.

Thanks Jeff. My meeting in Taylorsville is over at 1:30 tomorrow. I'm going to cruise up to Ogden and scout the location for Thursday's meeting then plan to spend some time at Antelope Island on the way back. Had a great time up at Albion Basin yesterday evening. I am using a company laptop so I can't download or post any images at this time. Should have something to show this weekend.
