Monsoon Lupine
I went out one evening this week to find some flowers to photograph with the San Francisco Peaks in the background. The evening rain clouds blocked the light on the mountain, so I reversed direction and shot the clump of lupine against the sunset. This is a Zerene stack of 3 images for dof and then a hand blend for the sky as Zerene "stuttered" in the moving clouds.

As always, suggestions are welcome.

Looks real good to me, Doug. Perfectly 'developed'. I like the format and composition better with an inch or two of sky cropped.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the additional crop John. Seems to be a slight halo around the right side tree touch on.

Sweet--gorgeous scene, Doug! Id soften up the trees a bit (selectively sharpen) and call it perfect.
