Georgia Sunrise
Had a few gorgeous sunrises at Jekyll Island a couple of months ago. I almost hesitated to post this as the horizon is closer to the center of the frame than I like. I have many, many images of the the few mornings we were there, but this is the first image of the trip that I've played with. It's not the best of the sunrise shots, but for some reason I started tinkering with it first.

20D, 12-24 Tokina @ 14mm, 1/2 sec @ f22, 3 stop hard grad ND

Jerry,
Beautiful scene and lighting. I do however feel this might need a little more to put it over the top. The exposure and techs are right on.

This is so beautiful. Maybe you could put if over the top - but it's got to be darn near there now. Love the color range and light values.

I find this to be quite beautiful. Perhaps cropping just above the lighter clouds would add some value to the comp. Other than that, I like it as is.

Beautiful image and pleasing color tones. As you mentioned, the horizon is close to the center, but I think in this case it works anyway, at least for me.
It looks like the wide angle Tokina lense performs well.

Thanks for your comments! AJ, I think you're right. A pano crop may be better.

Harald, yes, the Tokina 12-24mm is a wonderful lens!
