Hi All.
Was driving along and I spotted this oystercatcher sitting not on a nest and decided to have a cup of tea and wait to see what might develop. Another bird appeared and I managed to get this picture.
Taken with a Canon Camera ISO 400 1/1600 at F5.6 -1.0EV and a 300mm lens and a 2x conv. Cropped to Pano effect thought it may suit the Birds better. All comments welcome.

Nice with a great bg and forground, nice than the boring grass we get down here, I do have a couple of nits though, sorry, I think I would prefer to have both the birds beaks clear and there appears to be a very slight halo possinbly from dodging the dark plumage or from use of the S/H tool, I may of course be totally wrong it is always hard to tell on a web sized image.
If you do get a halo simply use the history brush to repair it.
A nightmare to expose correctly and given the lighting conditions I think you have done well, there is detail in the blacks and not too over on the whites.
I agree with Phil about the beaks but it is a minor nit, I also think stopping down a little would have improved the DOF for the rearmost bird.

Congrats on a nice image in a super setting.
