Breathtaking; dramatic; beautiful, etc, etc, etc, etc. Your opening blog image is most spectacular! Thank you.

You're nuts.

Stan you are the dune master. Those images in your blog are great, I especially like the sun flowers in the comps. Thanks for sharing

How you got the dune ridges to shine/contrast golden yellow is nice. I wish that the sunflower on this Trouble's Brewing was not clipped on the bottom so it would have more of a sense of singleness on the dune. Good stuff, particularly Tall Dunes, Wide and Stormy and Dangerous Dunes.

'Wide & Stormy', 'Tall Dunes' and of course 'Dangerous Dunes' are just outstanding, Stan! The flower images are the least successful, but that doesn't much matter when you had conditions and light like you had here.

Tall Dunes, Dangerous Dunes, Monsoon Dunes, and Requiem with the right side cropped off. In that order. Those are 4 top shelf shots, Stan! :toast:

I suppose if I had to pick one from this excellent set I prefer Tall Dunes. The lighting in that image is downright wicked. Although the lighting looks pretty darn nice throughout this set and of course you took full advantage of it. Technically, I think you did a masterful job considering the Pucker Factor rating of about 8 out of 10? Stan, how would you rate the pucker factor here?

Holy smokes, you are the king of the dunes! All have their unique characteristics. Tall Dunes for me captures almost all of the qualities that make color images great; composition, varying colors, patterns, scale, textures, etc, etc. I can't image being on the dunes during a lighting storm. Did your undies come out clean?

Nice to hear the story as well as seeing your images here, Stan. My favorite is Green & Gold - I like the way the scene unfolds and drops into the valley. Thanks for sharing!

Hmmm...pucker factor. Pretty low actually. Once i saw lightning hit the ground about 80-100 feet away. That was a 9
