Weather radar showed a line of storms heading to the north towards the Grand Canyon this past Sunday. I figured there would be a good possibility of lightning and rainbows, so I headed north also. Some red light busted loose at sunset. Another image is posted in ESS. As always, open critique is welcome.

Very nice images here. But you're holding out on us! The one over in the Landscape gallery is stunning!
Really nice shots Doug but of course that one posted in the Landscape gallery takes the trophy. That sure is an exciting time watching your sunrise develope from way up there right? First you get this shot, and you're basically already satisfied, then you get the shot posted in the landscape gallery. What a morning that had to have been for you. I was north of you at the Canyonlands that morning and had the same experience.
Sweet! Love your frst two here--will check out the ESS one.

Looks like you had a productive time at the big ditch! I'm a sucker for light and shadow so I really like the 3rd one. Of course the other two are excellent as well!

Yeah, your image in the Landscape gallery is superlative. I do like the other two you posted here, though.
What a rewarding day you had!
