Another Painted Hills Shot
Here is another shot from the Painted hills. It might be the same location and general composition as Catherine's Zed image (just looked at yours last night, Catherine. Great work).

Another great shot, Marylynne! I know the lighting can vary a lot during the day and from visit to visit; just wondering if this isn't a bit on the yellow side. Of course that's by my memory, while you were right there.
The comp is entertaining with all the juxtaposition of color and direction of 'flow' in the various hills. I get the feel of vast brush strokes from a painter whose having a lot of fun en plein aire! I like it a lot.
Thanks for viewing my images from there and for the kind words.

Great composition. I really like the contrasting lines you caught. I like it with that urc cropped out too.

My fav of the three! And would like to clone or crop the URC too. Nice set of shots!

This is also my favorite of the 3. Excellent composition. The opposing lines and valleys created by the drainage, and the layered colors and hills work very well. The details in the vertical drainage lines in the top portion are especially nice.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I did a similar cloning for a corner on one of the others. I'll do that here as well.
