Me too, It seems to forget me !!

Yep, me too. I sent a email to Jim and he suggested clearing out the cookies. I did that and it looked like it worked. But when I closed down a session and got off IE, I had to log in again when I came back in. Sounds like it's not just me then.
I'm using the latest Firefox release #23 and having no issues at all. I did have an issue when the system was going through the upgrade. However, after deleting all browser cache info it started working just fine without a hitch. I just had to log in the one time and it's remained signed on ever since. Good luck......

I haven't used my PC lately for accessing NPN, but it's also happening on the iPad. The login is forgotten regularly, though it does not seem to be every time. This did not change after cleaning the cookies and the cache. I am using Safari on the iPad. It used to be fine since I got the iPad, a bit over a year ago, and only started lately.

I am using Firefox on my Mac with no problem, but Safari is unusable - constant automatic logging out as I shift between galleries.
Have to log in every time I go to All Photos. Portfolios holds the log in.

Firefox and IE, two different PCs and two different ISPs. Haven't had this issue.

On Chrome if I go to the NPN home page after a restart it logs me out on my next access, but if I bookmark and go right to forums or galleries as my first page at NPN everything works. IE is working for me, though.
In case it helps the debugging, what I'm seeing in the first case, is for some reason the "id" persistent cookie from NPN, which is what apparently keeps your login across restarts, is getting overwritten with the value of the new "__jjid" persistent cookie, which we're now also getting as part of the sharing button upgrade. Since that value is not a valid NPN login, you lose your authentication. If you can watch your cookies in your browser, you could take a look and see if your "id" cookie is getting corrupted on various accesses to different NPN pages.

A great tip, Jeff ! In Safari I am avoiding the NPN Home Page and all seems to be well with remaining logged in.

My question though, why just the NPN webpage, have no problem with any logins on other pages in I.E.
Danny, there was an earlier thread on this. The site had an upgrade to install link buttons you now see in the galleries to Facebook, Twitter, etc. Since that upgrade there were some hiccups. Here is another thread on the subject if you're still having issues. Log On Issues

I also now have to log in each time I go directly to the forums, even when using the link from the daily emails. Over-writing my previous bookmarks also made no difference. Obviously, the problem from a week ago has still not been resolved, in spite of what Jim wrote on that other thread.

Also, just FYI, the other thing that solved the problem for me completely in Chrome was to add "jaaju-production.appspot.com" to my ad block list in the AdBlock extension, so the javascript content for the new sharing feature just couldn't get loaded at all, as it seems pretty clear that's where the problem is coming from. You can use any number of methods to blacklist a site or URL, AdBlock is just one, and stopping the loading of that code probably would fix the problem for anyone who's having the login problem.

The issue did indeed start with the SM sharing buttons and we are working with the providers of the service to get this resolved. Jeff, your insight is greatly appreciated and will be sent along to them!
At the end of the day, I need feedback as to whether having the SM sharing buttons are a worthy addition and worth working through the log-in issue to keep them in place. If not, I will abandon the use of them.

Jim : regarding the sharing buttons, they are not something I would ever use. I don't frequent the SM sites at all. However, I would not want to see them go if others find them useful.

I'm not sure if there has been a fix in NH, but my Login is staying current even when I go out of IE. The only difference has been that I checked the box when I was asked if I wanted my Password remembered. As it wasn't asking for my ID so I was surprised this happened unless there has been a fix of some sort.

Mine seems to be working again !

Woo hoo!
Many thanks to Jeff Lewis for his analysis - I think we have it all resolved.
If anyone still has issue, please let me know!

From today, Jim, Safari is, like Firefox before it, working fine on my Mac. Many thanks for all your efforts !!!!
