Deluge Lake
Every summer i always do one hike without all the camera gear. A bit of a tradition. This year, Deluge Lake. If you're interested, full story on my Blog

Nice work Stan. The Deluge Trail is one of the steeper trails in the Gore Mountains and locally nicknamed The Grunt. Short but sweet no doubt. BTW, if you ever head back up there to do a sunset shot from Grand Traverse, don't get caught up in the possibility of leaving your tent behind to save weight and staying in the dilapidated cabin up there. There's a family of Marmots that live under the cabin and they enjoy snooping around ones belongings and eating all your food. They are messy eaters and lack manners. Trust me on that one...

Try Booth Lake next. I like it better than Pitkin.

This is real pretty, Stan. Love the flowers being in the shade while all else is sunlit. Fine composition, too!

It's pretty, and it's nice to have a visual record, but you already know it's not near to what you caught on your wildflower trip.
