Last night I was perusing the latest issue of Nat. Geo. and came upon the results of their NG Photo Contest which had some 22,000 entries. The top entry for wildlife and the Grand-Prize winner was an image by Ashley Vincent from Thailand. If memory serves me correctly, he was a member here and submitted lots of photos from SE Asia but left to pursue starting a photo business there. In addition to the great exposure, he received $10,000 and a trip to DC.
Yes, Ashley was a member here, and we communicated often. He still posts on 500px, and a few other sites.
Congrats - quite an accomplishment!
If anyone else wants to congratulate him, his email is AshleyVincent@yahoo.com
