Anyone have any info regarding sunflower photography opportunities? An I too late for those big ones out there on the way to the airport? Thinking about heading out tomorrow night with my new camera.

About 10 days ago there was a large sunflower field on the east side of Tower Road at about 61st.

Kane, that field Scott mentioned is past peak -- sunflowers are mostly drooping, petals wilted, though there are some still looking good. There's a field of smaller ones that still look good close to Green Valley Ranch on the west side of Pena Blvd.

Went out there last night. I'll estimate about 99% of them are wilted and basically burnt up, especially the larger disc sized sunflowers. I stuck around searching fir any worthy comp because i knew the sunset would be good. I found one tiny chunk of flowers and worked it to death. During peak, the comp here would be unlimited. I'll admit I was pretty dissapointed that I missed quite a show a week or two ago. There's always next year.
