Homestead

Seen this alot around in here, i even took a shot a few years ago when it was alot messier around the old house. Looks like its been cleaned up so i took the whole scene this time. Couldnt get the old wagon in, so just have a separate one that i dont really like. Even tried standing on the bank on the other side of the road with the wagon in the scene, but too much sky in it trying to keep the road out of the picture. Anyway, i liked the 'grand' scene of it all. canon 5d with 16-35 mm at 16mm and f/16. :) Also i liked the house centered in the frame, up down left right, does it seem ok? Thanks.

You have been posting some great images of NW open spaces and this may be my fav. I love the character and history one sees in the old barns, schoolhouses and homes. The expansive land in these helps remind us of how tiny we are by comparison, like ants in an abandoned lot.
