Red Rock Lakes, Indian Peaks and Clouds

I was up at Red Rock lake last week and got this shot on a quiet, slightly overcast day. I thought it was quite peaceful.

Hi Larry, I think you have a lot of the elements here to make a great image. The comp feels good to my eye but I may have added just a touch more foreground. The scene is nice too, feels like I'm there. You have controlled the highlights in the clouds well. My biggest challenge is the lack any nice lighting to assist the image with some luminosity and rich color, seems a bit drab. For the conditions, I think this image is about spot on.

Thanks for the comments Kane. I have lots of shots of Red Rock lake with bright fall colors and luminosity, but this shot grabbed me with it's quietness. Of course I could not do anything about the overcast lighting, but go with it ;O)>. I would have liked a little more foreground, but it would have meant losing the top of the central cloud, which seem to me necessary for the feeling of the comp. Thanks again for the constructive comments, they are appreciated.
