Kingfisher
I spent a pleasant few hours barbelling on the River Teme yesterday.
Early in the evening with the sun setting low opposite me, aKingfisher tried to land on my tight ledger line.It fell off into the water and then flew up omto the rod. I ried to reach the camera with the wide angle on which I use for doing any fish I catch. It flew off. A few minutes later it returned onto the rod and took no notice as I raised the camera as I say with the 18-50mm lens on. It sat there and caught three fish off the rod! More than I had !I was sat 6 foot from the bird. To top it all another arrived and sat on the second rod for a few seconds.
Nice to be able to say- no baiting, no set up, no hide.,no nest.
!!
A wonderfull moment indeed.

So the kingfisher caught three fish using a rod? There has to be a joke in there somewhere.
I won't ask how many you caught.
