When I came over Rabbit Ears Pass a few days ago, I couldn't believe all the snow still up there. Well, actually, having heard what a winter they had, I could believe it. But there was quite a visual disconnect on the Steamboat side of the pass, with all but the very highest aspens sporting bright green leaves, but surrounded by huge, deep snowdrifts.
