Well, I guess it was not a mistake or a dream! After returning from my last canoe/fishing trip of the year before everything freezes, this image is STILL the Landscape WP. I can't tell you what an honor it is to be included in such a talented and hard-working group of photographers, especially when I see the lengths people went to to produce truly outstanding images from the far reaches of the planet (while my shot depicts a small mountain one hour from home that even the locals can't name without looking at a map). Thanks to the moderators and to all those NPN members who so freely give advice to make us better photographers.

I went out with a bunch of rules in my mind, I identified my subjects, and then made images. A lot of them were stationery, or with little movement. Eventually, I decided to have some fun, as the dragonfly was stayed still, and decided to include some background of the leaves. It was only after I checked the image on the computer that I realized, there was something new, and an image that showed the mechanics of the Dragonfly Wings.
Thanks NPN once again on the WP.
