Well, really not the whole day, just an hour before sunset. Business trip to Carlsbad, CA and as usual I the G10 in the bag. I some time on the beach and the sunset cooperated. I have to come back here next week for a different client and will bring the big boy camera with me then. Comments and critique always welcome.

Bill, I like the third image even though it does not have the bright sunset reflection of the first. The waves add to the image for me, so more zoom may not be essential. Maybe try a slight crop on the right to decenter the bird more?

So do I. That one is my favorite, with the third just behind. The blown out sun/reflection in the center of #1 spoils that one for me.

Yep, the second shot is my favorite, though the third is close. I would place the bird closer to the right and have it walking into the frame.
