Spiderwort
Here's a spiderwort from last Saturday morning while walking around the family farm.

Very nice Marty. I like the llinse of the stem and leaves leading up to the flowers at the top. The blue of the flowers stand out well against the green OF background. Nice find and thanks for sharing.

Ah, tis the season for Ohio spiderwort. Very nice composition, focus, and lighting; certainly very pleasing to look at. Nice work!

Best, Don

In a word Marty, "elegant". It just has a nice feeling to it which I enjoy very much. Good job on this one! :wavey:

Really very nice, Marty. For me, these have always been difficult subjects. Not only do they usually push the gamut of your output devices, the fine center hairs are difficult to separate from the rest of the flower and you've done a nice job of both here. Lovely background, too! thanks for posting!
