I was back in Carlsbad, CA this week. Unfortunately, logistics precluded bringing a full camera kit along so I shot with the G10 again. This time I was blessed with a pretty spectacular sunset. Now if only there had been some sailboats or something for a foreground reference......

The color is so fantastic.
Out along that part of the coast you were more likely to get a barge or stray Navy Hovercraft from Oceanside. I love Carlsbad though - should have bought in about 20 years ago. Next time - checkout Pizza Port in the main part of town :)

Thanks for the tip Karl. We have quite few clients in the area so I'll definitely get out there again sometime though I'm not sure how soon. I had breakfast at the Daily News Café and it was pretty darn good. Thank you all for the kind words. I almost missed this because I was gawking at how wonderful it was.
