Classic Pose
I came across this Mallard while going thru some older files. Nothing spectacular, a mallard and the pose is somewhat "classic preening," but for me it comes together nicely. I see it was shot at F4 and can't explain the low setting but the DOF looks pretty good.

Very nice, Craig. I like the composition and as you say, the preening pose is classic.

Oh! I sure like this! The shallow dof really "pops" the duck, while still leaving enough "impression" about what's around him in his environment. Gotta love those orange legs and duck feet!! Good work, Craig. Thanks for sharing a great classic.
